About the Event
Are you interested in the topic of women empowerment?
And have you heard about the recent shocking events in Cyprus? We have, and have therefore decided to organise this event dedicated to migrant women and empowerment.
We’ve invited 5 amazing women who are all very different from each other. Each of them, in her own way, is making an impact on advancing women empowerment in Bulgaria and abroad.
This event will be an ‘exploration space’. It will first give the floor to women who have chosen to live in Bulgaria, so they can share their experiences and, together with experts on migration, human rights and women empowerment, discuss what, if any, policy changes need to be put in place that take into account the specific vulnerabilities and needs of migrant women.
